Words Taste Like Peaches

Oh, look, I have an intro post now.

peasantings:

I’m a Democrat, but I hate living in a world where in order to like one party the other party has to become THE GREATEST EVIL IN EXISTENCE.

No party is perfect. No party can come close to perfect.

And just because someone is a Republican makes them automatically a bad person that we all have to stop liking, and crying and thinking has gone to shit.

And just because someone is a Democrat doesn’t mean they’re right and we should like them!

There are shitty Republicans, and shitty Democrats! And shitty Republican ideas, and shitty Democrat ideas!

And I hate living in a world where it is just black and white when it comes to parties, because it’s not like that at all for the most part.

Thissssssssss.

I think there are a lot of good Republicans and a lot of bad ones. (Same with Dems.) And though I don’t really understand a lot of their views or agree with them, I don’t think they are evil people. More than anything, I’m surprised when I hear certain celebs are Republicans but I don’t think they’re bad people.

I also think a lot of people are raised in one sort of political or religious ideology and don’t really look outside of that. And sometimes people don’t do ALL the research when it comes to who they support in elections. But that doesn’t make them evil or less than human or better or worse than me. (And this paragraph applies to ALL parties.)

IDK, I’m hardly a fan of Republicans, but hating on people just because they disagree with you will NEVER fix what’s wrong with this country.
