Words Taste Like Peaches, If you had to choose between a critically successful writing career while being relatively unknown by the general public, or a popular writing career while being ignored/snubbed by critics?

Lisa, raised in Las Vegas, studied Film and Broadcasting in college, currently unemployed and thus spends too much time watching TV (for ~research) and hanging out on the internet.

I’ll take any career. LOL. But I tend to think critics are overpaid and pretentious (in any medium) so I’d rather have readers on my side than critics.
